About This Proposal

About _Studio Venn_

"We believe the best brand experiences are earned through restraint — every detail deliberate, every element earning its place."

Studio Venn is a boutique brand and digital design practice founded by Abhay Sharma. We specialize in working with ambitious consumer brands — particularly those in food, beverage, and lifestyle — who have outgrown their first-generation identity and are ready to grow into something they're truly proud of.

We keep our client roster intentionally small. Every engagement receives direct involvement from our principal designer, from the first strategy conversation through final delivery. There are no account managers, no offshore execution, no handoffs to junior staff halfway through. When you work with Studio Venn, you work with the person who cares most about getting it right.

Our approach is rooted in understanding the business before we touch a single pixel. For Northlake Coffee, that means understanding your customers — the early-morning ritual crowd, the weekend pour-over enthusiast — and designing an online presence that speaks to them with the same care and intention that goes into every bag you ship.

This proposal outlines our recommended scope, timeline, and investment for Northlake Coffee Co.'s website redesign and brand refresh. It reflects what we believe you actually need — not a bloated engagement, but a focused, high-quality execution that delivers real results.

Project Overview

What We're _Solving_

Northlake Coffee Co. makes exceptional coffee. Your sourcing is thoughtful, your roasting is precise, and your brand story is genuinely compelling. The problem is that your current website doesn't communicate any of that. It feels like a template that was never quite finished — functional, but forgettable.

In the DTC coffee market, the window to earn a first-time buyer's trust is roughly **12 seconds**. If your homepage doesn't immediately signal quality, provenance, and personality, that visitor is gone — and they're buying from a competitor who spent more time on their digital presence than their beans.

**Our approach** is to build a website and visual identity system that closes that gap decisively. We'll start with a focused discovery phase to understand your target customers and competitive landscape, then move into high-fidelity Figma designs before a single line of code is written. The Webflow build that follows will be fast-loading, conversion-optimized, and easy for your team to update independently.

The brand refresh component is intentionally scoped — we're not reinventing Northlake from scratch. We're evolving your existing identity with refined typography, a tighter color system, and updated visual guidelines that work across your packaging, social, and digital touchpoints consistently.

## Frequently asked questions

### What should a freelance project proposal include?

A strong proposal includes: an executive summary of the project, detailed scope and deliverables, timeline with milestones, pricing breakdown, payment schedule, and what is explicitly not included (to prevent scope creep).

### How long should a client proposal be?

For freelance and small agency projects, 3–5 pages is the sweet spot. Long enough to show professionalism and cover all key points, short enough that clients actually read it.

### Is this proposal template free?

Yes — free to use and customize. Describe your project, client, and pricing to the AI and it will populate the full proposal.
