### Executive Summary

#### Strategic Intent

This document outlines Helios HR's content marketing strategy for Q2–Q3 2026\. Our goal is to establish Helios as the definitive resource for HR leaders at Series A–B tech companies navigating the complexity of managing distributed, growing teams. Content is our primary demand generation lever: we aim to grow organic traffic by 40%, add 200+ newsletter subscribers per month, and generate 50 marketing-qualified leads monthly by end of Q3.

Every content asset this quarter maps to a specific buyer stage, pillar topic, and distribution channel. This document serves as the single source of truth for the Content, SEO, and Growth teams.

#### Strategic Priorities

Three priorities will guide every content decision this quarter:

1

**Depth over volume.** We will publish fewer, longer, more comprehensive pieces that earn backlinks and satisfy search intent completely. Each SEO post targets one primary keyword with a clear SERP opportunity.

2

**Channel coherence.** LinkedIn threads, newsletters, and YouTube videos will all reinforce the same pillar topics. One big idea per month, expressed across four channels.

3

**Conversion architecture.** Every TOFU post links to a MOFU resource. Every MOFU resource has a clear BOFU path. No content island exists without an onward journey toward product consideration.

Section 02

### Our Ideal Customer Profile

##### Who We Are Writing For

###### Primary Persona: The Stretched HR Manager

**Job Title:** HR Manager / People Operations Lead / Head of HR
**Company Stage:** Series A or Series B startup
**Company Size:** 50–500 employees
**Industry:** B2B SaaS, FinTech, or growth-stage tech
**Team Size:** Usually HR team of 1–4 people
**Location:** Primarily US (with distributed teams globally)

##### Core Pain Points

A

**Performance review chaos:** Cycle management is still done in spreadsheets. Calibration takes 3 weeks. Managers hate the process.

B

**Remote onboarding friction:** New hires feel disconnected in their first 90 days. No consistent onboarding experience across departments. High early attrition.

C

**Compliance anxiety:** Rapidly expanding teams mean multi-state compliance headaches. HR is always a step behind legal requirements.

D

**No strategic time:** 70% of their week is reactive — answering employee questions, chasing managers for paperwork, running manual reports. They want to do strategic work but can't.

##### What They Search For

remote onboarding checklist how to reduce employee turnover continuous feedback tools OKR template for HR stay interview questions 90 day onboarding plan performance review software async team management HR compliance checklist

##### What Makes Them Choose a Tool

Peer recommendations from other HR leaders in Slack communities. Content that shows tangible templates and frameworks — not theory. Proof that similar-sized companies use the product. Easy implementation story: they cannot afford a 6-month rollout.

#### Secondary Persona: The People-Forward Founder

At very early-stage companies (50–100 employees), the CEO or COO directly manages HR processes before hiring a dedicated HR manager. They are often the first to read our content and become champions who later hand off evaluation to their HR hire. Content should not alienate this persona.

Section 03

### Content Pillars

All Helios HR content this quarter maps to one of three pillars. Each pillar is supported by a cluster of target keywords spanning multiple search intents and funnel stages.

01

#### Employee Retention

**Strategic rationale:** Retention is the highest-anxiety problem for our ICP. High turnover is expensive and visible to leadership — it puts HR directly in the crosshairs. Content here earns both search traffic and emotional resonance.

##### Target Keywords

how to reduce employee turnover retention strategies for remote teams stay interview questions employee satisfaction survey why employees quit

##### Content Types This Pillar

Long-form guides (2,000–3,500 words) / Downloadable toolkits (stay interview scripts, pulse survey templates) / LinkedIn stat threads / Newsletter deep-dives

02

#### Remote Team Management

**Strategic rationale:** Remote is now the default for our ICP's workforce. Managing dispersed teams without line-of-sight is the core management challenge. This pillar positions Helios as the async-first HR platform.

##### Target Keywords

managing remote teams effectively async work best practices remote onboarding checklist virtual team building remote employee engagement

##### Content Types This Pillar

Checklist-style posts / YouTube screencasts showing Helios features / Case study posts featuring customer stories / Email sequences for onboarding nurture

03

#### Performance Management

**Strategic rationale:** Performance review reform is the fastest-growing conversation in HR circles. Our ICP is actively looking for a better system. BOFU content here connects directly to Helios's core product value proposition.

##### Target Keywords

continuous performance feedback OKR templates for HR performance review alternatives manager effectiveness survey 360 feedback process

##### Content Types This Pillar

Comparison/contrast posts / Free template downloads (OKR templates, review frameworks) / LinkedIn carousels / Webinars recorded and published on YouTube

Section 04

### Channel Strategy

Four channels deliver our content this quarter. Each channel has a defined cadence, format strategy, and conversion role within the buyer journey.

##### Channel Overview

SEO Blog

3×/week

Primary awareness and lead generation channel. Mon/Wed/Fri publishing schedule. Each post targets one primary keyword. Minimum 1,800 words. Every post includes one internal link to a content upgrade or product page. Priya reviews all outlines; freelance writers produce first drafts.

LinkedIn

Daily

Brand and thought leadership channel. Mix: 60% educational threads (data, frameworks, tips), 20% social proof (customer quotes, product wins), 20% company culture (team, values). Native video and carousels prioritized by the algorithm — aim for 2×/week carousel. Comments engagement within 60 min of posting is mandatory.

Newsletter

Weekly

Retention and nurture channel. 4,200 subscribers. 34% open rate (industry avg: 21%). Send Tuesdays at 9am ET. Format: one big idea, one curated resource, one quick tip. Goal: drive 15% of newsletter clicks to blog or product page. Target: 200 net new subscribers/month via blog CTAs and LinkedIn promotion.

YouTube

2×/month

Education and SEO channel. 10–15 min how-to screencasts showing HR processes within Helios. Each video maps to a pillar topic. Videos are repurposed: clips for LinkedIn, transcript for blog, audio for potential podcast. Target: 500 views/video within 30 days of publish.

#### Content Repurposing Matrix

Every long-form blog post produces at minimum three derivative assets. This multiplies output without multiplying effort:

| Source Asset | Derivative 1 | Derivative 2 | Derivative 3 |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------------- | ----------------------- | ----------------- |
| 2,500-word blog post | LinkedIn thread (key stats) | Newsletter section | YouTube outline |
