Overview

The Proposal
at a Glance

This proposal outlines a complete website redesign for Acme Corp, addressing the core challenges identified during our discovery call: a conversion rate below industry benchmarks, a mobile experience that needs modernization, and a content structure that doesn't reflect your current positioning.

The work I'm proposing is scoped to deliver a measurable improvement in all three areas — a new design system, rebuilt core pages, a mobile-first implementation, and a content architecture that aligns with how your customers actually navigate buying decisions.

What This Engagement Delivers

A complete, production-ready website across 8 core pages — designed, built, and handed off with a component library and documentation. Work begins within 5 business days of a signed proposal and initial payment. Estimated completion: 6 weeks from kick-off.

I've worked on 40+ projects of this scope over the past six years, including redesigns for companies at your stage of growth. The process I follow is structured to minimise rounds of revision, protect your timeline, and result in a site that your team can maintain and extend without depending on a developer for every change.

This proposal is valid for **30 days** from the date above. I'm happy to answer any questions before you decide — the best way to reach me is by email or a quick call.

## Frequently asked questions

### What should a freelance proposal include?

A professional freelance proposal should include: an executive summary, detailed scope of work with deliverables, a project timeline, pricing breakdown, payment terms (deposit, milestones), revision policy, and a signature page. This template covers all of these in a clean, client-ready format.

### How do I write a proposal to send to a client?

Start with a brief executive summary of what you are proposing and why. Then list exactly what you will deliver, when, and for how much. Keep the language direct and specific — vague proposals lose clients. Use this template and describe your project to the AI; it will draft the copy for you.

### Should I send a proposal as a PDF or a Google Doc?

Always PDF. A PDF locks the formatting, looks professional, and prevents accidental editing. It also tells the client this is a formal document, not a draft. Export from this template as a pixel-perfect PDF.

### Is this freelance proposal template free?

Yes — free to use and customize. Describe your project, scope, and pricing to the AI and it will generate a complete proposal ready to send to your client.
