Recommendation HubSpot Sales Hub

Decision Date March 31, 2026

Executive Summary

Recommendation: HubSpot Sales Hub (Pro)

**HubSpot Sales Hub achieves the highest weighted score (4.2)** among the five vendors evaluated. The recommendation is driven by three factors: (1) best-in-class UX reduces adoption risk for a sales team with mixed technical comfort levels; (2) our marketing team is already on HubSpot Marketing — CRM unification eliminates data sync issues and tooling overhead; (3) reporting depth is sufficient for our current stage and scales well. Three-year TCO of $97,200 is mid-range among evaluated options.

TCO includes base license only. HubSpot figures assume annual billing (15% discount vs monthly). Implementation costs not included — HubSpot estimated 3-4 weeks vs Salesforce 10-14 weeks, partially offsetting price difference.

Final Recommendation

Recommended Vendor

HubSpot Sales Hub (Pro)

HubSpot Sales Hub is the clear choice for our 30-person sales team at this stage. The weighted score of 4.35 reflects its lead in the two highest-weight criteria: ease of use (25%) and reporting depth (20%). Our sales team includes reps with varying technical backgrounds — HubSpot's best-in-class UX reduces adoption friction and accelerates time-to-value. The existing HubSpot Marketing investment is a forcing function: unified CRM eliminates the data sync complexity we currently manage with Zapier, gives marketing real-time lead quality visibility, and reduces tooling overhead. While Pipedrive and Close.io are meaningfully cheaper, the reporting limitations and lack of marketing alignment make them insufficient for our stage. Salesforce is over-engineered for where we are today.

## Frequently asked questions

### What should a vendor comparison report include?

A complete vendor evaluation covers: evaluation criteria and their weights, feature comparison table, pricing and TCO comparison, demo notes and subjective impressions, weighted scoring, and a clear recommendation with rationale.

### How do you score vendors objectively?

Define criteria before talking to vendors. Assign weights based on business importance. Score each vendor per criterion. Multiply score × weight. Sum for total weighted score. This template is pre-structured for that process.

### Is this vendor comparison template free?

Yes — free to use. Describe the vendors, criteria, and your priorities to the AI and it will structure the full comparison.
