Kindle ebooks and print paperbacks
Kindle Create is an ebook tool. It makes three Kindle formats: reflowable ebooks, where readers can resize the text; Print Replica, a fixed layout for books like cookbooks and textbooks; and Comics. The print-ready PDF for a KDP paperback is made separately, in KDP's own flow, not inside Kindle Create.

Writing with AI
Kindle Create formats a book you have already written in Word or Google Docs. BuildPDFs can also help you write it. Start from notes or an outline, and the AI helps draft and structure the chapters. You then change the layout by asking, for example "start each chapter on a right-hand page" or "use a larger body font".
